Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have baby car seats / child booster seats?

Yes! We can provide both baby car seats and children’s booster seats for your convenience – FREE!

At the time of booking, let Customer Service know you will be travelling with a child 0-7 years and a baby seat or child booster seat will be provided free of charge.

Safety is paramount at Coast Tours and Transfers and your child’s life is PRICELESS.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept debit card and credit card (EFTPOS) facilities including Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge a surcharge on credit card payments.

What if my travel plans change?

We’re accommodating! We understand that things pop up unexpectedly and circumstances change. Give us a call and where possible we’ll try to reschedule your booking.

What if I need to cancel my tour/transfer?

You may be entitled to a full or partial refund depending on how much notice you give us. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

What if it rains on the day of my tour?

As long as the weather conditions are not considered dangerous, tours/transfers operate as normal during periods of rain.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

With the exception of water, the consumption of food and beverages is not permitted in any vehicle. This ensures the health and safety of our passengers as well as the cleanliness and hygiene of our vehicles; please help us to maintain our service standards.

Please refer to Terms and Conditions for information on possible cleaning fees should cleaning services be required.

What is exclusive use?

Only you or your group travel in the vehicle with no other pick-ups or drop-offs en route, unless requested by you.

How are all my luggage items transported?

Luggage will be stored in the boot of all vehicles. A luggage allowance of 1 medium suitcase (approx. 20kg) and 1 carry on hand luggage (approx. 7kg) per passenger, which is the same as most airline requirements.

Please advise Customer Service at the time of booking if you will be travelling with additional or oversize luggage so we can arrange alternate options, if required. Fees may apply, depending on volume and capacity.

Why do you need my flight details?

Flight details are requested to ensure your flight is on schedule for arrival. Where possible, if your flight is delayed, Coast will do its best to meet the late flight so there is no interruption to your service.

Will I be charged any additional fees?

Coast Tours and Transfers prides itself on its transparency. What you see is what you get – no hidden fees will be charged for toll roads, fuel costs, airport parking etc. Please review our Terms and Conditions for full information.
